What is the difference between commercial and residential drying?

When it comes to commercial drying most of the equipment is the same except a lot more of it is present. Extraction is done the same way in a building as for a home, using a truck mounted extractor. If it is a large building with many floors we may change to a portable extractor to fit in elevators to get to the top floors.

Air movers will be very plentiful on the job with is usual. Depending on the amount of water that is bound in the building materials will depend on the amount of dehumidifiers we’ll need. At times we may use a commercial desiccant to speed up the process.
